The 57th Children’s Book Festival took place from the 5th to the 15th of October 2011. The theme of this year is Superheroes! - About being brave. The official opening, the Children’s Book Bal, took place the 4th of October in the "Muziekgebouw aan 't ij" in Amsterdam. Along with designers Judith Montens and Nina Westendorp, I was asked to decorate the entrance of the concert hall for this special evening. Together we created a street of fame, filled with superheroes of past and present.
